Azokeramos

Azokeramos is a small agricultural village (with only 14 inhabitants according to the 2011 national census, source Wikipedia.gr) located at 260 mt. a.s.l. on the slopes of Mount Traòstalos (520 mt.) at the coordinates +35°07'49.4"North, +26°15'04.0"East.
The Ktel regional bus with the Sitia-Palekastro-Zakros line stops on the main road and runs three times a week in summer.
The nearest village is Zakros at 7.7 km.; the closest beaches are in Palekastro (Xiona at 13,3 km. and Kouremenos at 13,8 km.) and there are also the beach of Kato Zakros (16,1 km.) and the beautiful beaches of the Xerocampos area (16,9 km.).
